Cohort 2: Mobility & Transportation
Cohort 1: Clean Energy
Cohort 2: Mobility & Transportation (Summer 2022)
"Transport, which accounts for more than one quarter of global greenhouse gases, is key to getting the Sustainable Development Goals on track. We must decarbonize all means of transport, in order to get to net-zero emissions by 2050 globally."
— António Guterres, UN Secretary-GeneralOur second accelerator cohort focused on startups developing groundbreaking solutions to help cities address sustainability challenges, like tackling traffic analysis, smart internet of things (IoT) lampposts, and much more. The 12 companies were selected from hundreds of applications, representing 19 countries, by a panel of experts from AWS, Freshwater Advisors, and Public Spend Forum.
The program took place over the summer of 2022 and culminated in a virtual demo day global Innovation Showcase on September 7th attended by over 400 AWS customers, industry experts, venture capitalists, corporate executives, and government leaders.
